Welcome to the Club
We have a classic mahjong friendship. Stacey, a longtime player and teacher, introduced Molly to the game.
As our friendship—and our game—grew, we wanted more connection with more players, more games and more fun.
So we built the platform we always wanted. One that connects players to games, hosts to guests, and beginners to the teachers who’ll make them better players.

Stacey Kelly
Stacey’s background is in finance and philanthropy. She discovered Mah Jongg in NYC 15 years ago and still plays with the friends who first introduced her to the game. She competes in tournaments as often as possible, teaches with NMJL rules, and loves helping others build the confidence to play anywhere.

Molly's background is in communications and events. She finds joy in the game for its strategy, company, conversation, and overall experience. She plays every week, catches tournaments when she can, and has a nose for finding new games on the road.
For many players, mahjong begins with a family member or close friend sharing a tradition.
We both came to the game through American Mah Jongg and believe that the more people discover and play mahjong, the better. Stacey brings the perspective of a competitive American Mah Jongg player and teacher, helping others build confidence at the table. Molly's a social player who loves the connections that mahjong builds and enjoys learning about mahjong's history and traditions from others.
We built Club Mah Jongg to create a place where players can find games, learn from experienced teachers, and connect with others who share their love of the game. We hope to support the many instructors, hosts, and players who continue to grow the community and share their knowledge.
